I offer consultation services and Texas board approved supervision for LPC-Associates and licensed therapists in the state of Texas. I specialize in working with Associates who are opening their own practices while under supervision, as well as licensed therapists who are facing a difficult professional situation.

This is a GREAT question! What make me different from many supervisors are the professionals I work with and my approach to professional growth.
My practice is focused on supervision of Licensed Professional Counselor Associates who are starting their own practices, and consultation or supervision of Licensed Professional Counselors who are looking for support during a trying time professionally.
My approach to supervision and professional growth is based on humanistic philosophy. I strongly believe in helping professionals find their own style, practice ethically with genuine confidence, and draw on their personal life experiences to deepen their work with clients. Working with me means working on yourself personally and professionally. Knowing who and how you are, and how you got to be the way you are, is absolutely essential to becoming a good therapist because you bring (all of) yourself to every session, even if you think you are leaving some of you at the door.

Because I work with Associates who are opening their own practices, I do not hire Associates. If you need an affordable physical space for your own practice, that is something I’m happy to discuss if we decide to move forward with supervision.
